There was a small goods depot on the Metropolitan ‘Circle’ line at Artillery Lane, not unlike the Metropolitan Depot at Vine Street, though this one owned by the Great Western Railway. It’s traffic was general in nature, the facilities consisting of a small double-sided platform at rail level with a warehouse above, and the warehouse was connected to the platform by a wagon hoist and a staircase. Goods stock for Artillery Lane will be mostly GW sheeted opens and covered vans mainly from WEP, with a Connoisseur ‘Acton Shortie’ AA7 brake hauled by another Roxey Metro tank. As time permits I will introduce various goods services hauled by the other companies, which again, I’ll expound on later.
